Okay so here in the South, while it may be October, it still feels like the middle of August. In my lust for sweater weather and hot cocoa, I've decided to do a post on my favorite fall outfits! I cannot wait to be wearing this everyday for class and errands. I of course added the Starbucks and Louis because those are my favorite accessories. My hall is located literally next door to a Starbucks this year which is going to be a major
As you can see, my style is mainly pretty preppy. I love all things Ralph Lauren and J. Crew and I generally love to pop on an oversized sweater with my leggings and head over to lecture. So for class, the "comfy" look is as good as it gets. Also, I'm definitely adding bean boots to my Christmas list because they look adorable with leggings and a sweater (oh how I wish we called it jumpers like the Brits, so cool).
For sorority meetings and things, we aren't allowed to wear pants, so I'll probably wear an outfit of the "cute" variety. I'm obsessed with putting button downs or polos under sweaters and pairing it with a skirt or tights. It's very comfortable and easy to wear, but looks so proper and put together! I'm especially loving plaid and houndstooth this year (so precious)!
And finally, for all my shopping trips or weekend errands, I will definitely be dressing similar to the "classy" outfit. I love the look of the jeweled collar on a sweater and plus, you don't have to match a necklace (less work = so much better)! My favorite colors for the fall/winter are hunter green and a deep burgundy or wine color so I may add this sweater to my wish list as well. And can we just discuss the Tory Burch boots?!?! I am absolutely in love with the ones and pictured and these as well and since I have developed a serious obsession, I am hoping they will be getting lots of love from me by Christmas time (hint hint, momma).
Last but certainly not least, next Saturday, I will be doing a guest post on the blog Mason...Like the Jar so go check her out and make sure to be on the lookout for my post where I'll discuss more of my fall loves!
All my love,
