So as you'll have seen from yesterday's post, I've planned a few resolutions for myself this year. Every year I (and I'm sure loads of others) make grand plans to change eating habits, start working out, volunteer more, etc, and have trouble sticking to it. Today's post, as part of the 2014 Blogger Challenge, is all about staying motivated throughout the year. I've pulled together some of my favorite sayings and quotes so I can come back to this post when I'm feeling a bit exhausted and down and get a bit of a refresher!
I totally believe in the power of positive affirmations and think saying a few things every morning is a good way to start the day!
Everyone has different goals and everyone will reach them in their own time! I'm so bad about comparing my life to everyone else, especially on social media, so this year I'm going to try to remember that my beginning can't compare to what someone's been working on for a while!
Ahh, I just love this one. Goals don't expire and just because you get off track for a bit or have to postpone it for a while, you're never too old to do what you want to do!
I just threw this one in there for giggles! I think it's good motivation to always be at your best.
Another C.S Lewis quote that I love. I think the hardest part about new beginnings are the things you're afraid to leave behind, but some things are just meant to be left, in order for you to reach all there wonderful things in store ahead.
This one really needs no explanation. If you don't think you can do it, you may as well not even start. I think the key to anything is having faith in yourself and knowing what you're worth, so even if there is a bump in the road, you know you can get past it and you're worth whatever it takes.
I saw this and felt like it was speaking to me. #foreals
Perfection is over rated and I'd much rather concern myself with grace, which is definitely attainable.
