Singing at the Carwash…yeah.

Since I share my weirdness with you guys on a daily basis, I am not the slightest bit worried about sharing my love for car washes with you. Minus the slight accident I had when I *tried* to back out of one and smashed my tail light (whoops), I have always had a minor fixation on them. In a Sarah Dessen book that I read years ago, the main love interest said that he loved to go into a car wash and listen to his favorite music. It was supposed to make him sound all brooding and cool, which it totally did, because when I read that it sounded so wonderful that I absolutely could not wait to try it. Of course it was about 4 years before I actually got a car, but that is neither here nor there.
Now that I do in fact own a car that I very frequently take to be washed, I can totally vouch for the fact that listening to music in a carwash is what it was made for. I lean my seat back, close my eyes, and turn the music up. The acoustics are amazing and who doesn't find the mechanics of a carwash fascinating?
Over the years, I have found a couple tried and true songs that are just perfect for a bit of carwash relaxation…oh yeah, I'm gonna go ahead and trademark that.

Explosions - Ellie Goulding

Pompeii - Bastille

Break It To Me Gently - Brenda Lee

Stars - Grace Potter

La Vie en Rose - Louis Armstrong

It's All Coming Back To Me Now - Celine Dion

Yellow - Coldplay

So yes, I know you're thinking that I'm crazy and this sounds weird, but go on and give in to your curiosity, and then comment how genius it is once you try it. You're welcome.

What is your favorite "weird" habit?
