Today's the Day!

Today is the day! I am finally leaving for England after months of planning (and blogging) all about it! I am nervous, and scared, and anxious, but also excited, and I finally feel ready to go. My suitcase is all packed up and suffocated by space bags and I'm about to head out and weigh it before I head to the airport. All in all, I finally feel more excited than nervous.
I'd like to say I was worrying about complex things like terrorists attacking the tubes tomorrow for 9/11, but in true cliche girl fashion, I'm more worried about not packing everything I need and not seeing my friends and crushes for 3 months. I know, I need to cut it out.
Anyway, in all the anxiousness of the last few weeks, I've found a few quotes and things that pick me back up and remind me why I chose to study abroad in the first place, and it feels fitting to share them today!

But there are moments when one has to choose between living one’s own life, fully, entirely, completely — or dragging out some false, shallow, degrading existence that the world in its hypocrisy demands.
-Oscar Wilde

Then the time came when the risk it took to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.
-Anais Nin

You must learn to let go. Release the stress. You were never in control anyway.
-Steve Maraboli

I have wanted this for SO long and it doesn't feel real that I'm really getting it, but I think that the big things in life always feel like that. As always, I'll be blogging all about it, but if you want to keep up to date and see all the things that don't make the blog, you can follow me on Instagram!
